 Oberwerk 7x50mm Correct-Image Finderscope - 7x50 - The new Oberwerk 7x50mm Correct-Image Finderscope is based on the Oberwerk Military Observation Binocular, but with improved broadband multi-coatings throughout. Oberwerk 7x50mm Correct-Image Finderscope ideal for binocular astronomy (was very favorably reviewed in the May 2003 issue of Astronomy magazine). Use 25x for wide-angle deep space observations and 40x for planetary observation and comet hunting. Apparent field of view is a very wide 67° for a real "space-walk" effect. The cast aluminum body has a beautiful automotive-quality champagne finish. Oberwerk 7x50mm Correct-Image Finderscope also included is a convenient removable handle. There's also an optional 7x50mm correct-image finderscope available (as shown). Binocular is pre-tapped for the finderscope's precision-ground dovetail base (no adjustment required- just lock it in and it's aligned). Comes complete with rock-solid wooden tripod, mount (which is also a removable table-top tripod), and lightweight nylon form-fitted case. For more versatile astronomical usage, there are other mounting options available. The Bogen 475 tripod combined with our exclusive 15° offset adapter, which adds enough offset to reach zenith.
