The Meade LXD75 AR-6AT includes Meade's popular Autostar Suite. The LXD75 Achromatic Refractors are supplied with an upgraded 8x50 viewfinder, and the standard precision all-metal 1.25"/2" O.D. rack & pinion focuser. The refractors also have improved metal dew shields and heavier-duty objective cells. In addition, like the 6" refractor, the 5" has had a system of collimation screws added to the main objective cell. Features of Meade LXD75 AR-6AT 6" Achromatic Refractor Telescope:

Meade has announced its latest MEADE LXD75 Telescopes, a line of high-quality equatorially mounted telescopes with computerized GoTo-type operation (or electronic operation with computer upgrade optional). Meade LXD 75 telescope line includes Schmidt-Newtonians, Schmidt-Cassegrains, achromatic refractors and a single Meade Newtonian telescope model. The new Meade telescopes feature a high-performance equatorial mount, heavy-duty, all-metal field tripod and precision drive system. The new Meade LXD75 telescope mount holds similarly configured, but improved optical tube assemblies to that now offered with Meade LXD55 telescopes. The new Meade heavy-duty, all-metal field tripod utilizes a locking spreader bar (with three 1.25" eyepiece holders) to lock each leg in place, virtually eliminating flexure. Each leg has two anodized aluminum leg extension locks with an internal brake to eliminate slipping of the internal extending leg.
